Part 1 : beef salsa
ingredients :
- minced beef
- Ready red beans
- red sauce (brand used : Prego )
- crushed garlic and onion (optional)
- seasoned the beef with : cumin, salt & pepper, chili seasoning , red pepper.
*Proportions are to preference.
steps:
- Cook onion in a greased deep pan, when color is red-ish add the garlic and stir, then add the minced beef and seasoning.
- When beef is almost cooked add the red sauce then add the red beans.
- Keep till boiling hot then turn off the fire.
- Start frying french fries while waiting for the beef salsa to finish cooking.
Now when both fries and salsa are ready, we move to part 2 :
ingredients :
- ketchup , mayonnaise & mustard.
- Sliced jalapeños.
- Cheddar & mozarella cheese
Proportions here are also to preference, I put about 3/4 a cup of ketchup, half a cup of mayo and 1/3 of mustard. ( I didn't really measure it , just my estimates.)
Steps :
- In a bowl mix ketchup with mayo & mustard.
- place the fries in a pyrex that can handle the oven heat.
- Top fries with the beef salsa then add on it the mix of mayo, ketchup & mustard you have in that bowl then top it again with the beef salsa.
- Finally top it with cheddar cheese or mozarella cheese or both! & into the oven till cheese has melted! I did both.
- Add Jalapeños and serve ;) *I am not a fan of spicy food so I only added Jalapenos ontop after cooked, if you're a jalapeno lover you should add it within the previous steps between layers!*
ENJOY! <3
